Track circuit is a very important basic equipment for railway signal. The ballast will produce leakage when track circuit is long-term working in the outdoor environment.Especially, the change of ballast resistance is more obvious for part of track section working in the terrible environment. Thus, poor shunting failure are more easier to be happened, and the reliability of the track circuit is reduced. The safety and efficiency of train operation are seriously implicated by these two types of failures, and they are two problems to be solved in railway industry. Currently, due to the limitations of the microcomputer monitoring system, the failure judgment is based primarily on human experience. Usually, some repairs are taken after fault was happened. However, the use of microcomputer monitoring system can not accurately warning of such failure. Based on this issue, this thesis aims at poor shunting failure of ZPW-2000 A track circuit to establish early warning systems for the track circuit to avoid the poor shunting failure. The main contents are as follows.Firstly, the system characteristics of ZPW-2000 A track circuit is analyzed to help design ZPW-2000 A track circuit poor shunting early warning systems for ZPW-2000 A track circuit. In view of the poor shunting failure, to analyze the track circuit and select key impact indicators that can be visually represented as an early warning indicator. Railway voltage provided by the microcomputer monitoring system detection curve could be used to define warning limit. On this basis, the equivalent link four-terminal network of ZPW-2000 A track circuit is established. Meanwhile, VC(10)(10)6.0 and Matlab7.0 software are used to write program for ZPW-2000 A track circuit system to analyze and calculate. Thus, the warning alarm limits is determined.Secondly, the fuzzy pattern recognition method is selected for data analysis and processing. Track circuit poor shunting warning model is established and reasonable data acquisition system is designed to collect rail voltage, the voltage of simulated network driving on the sending end side of the cable and track-side temperature and humidity values real-timely and rapidly, and upload them to failure warning computer. Based on the data processing using the fuzzy pattern recognition method, the principle of non-symmetric closeness is used to decide fault level that track circuit belongs. Finally, design the interface of the early warning systems. The Human machine interface of poor shunting early warning system for the ZPW-2000 A track circuit is carried out by VC(10)(10)6.0 and Access database software, and the debugging environment is set up in a lab for debugging. The debugging results show that when the track circuit have a tendency of failure, the system can make a judgment, and the corresponding warning signal according to the fault trend is given in order to inform the electricity department to take appropriate measures todeal with it.The warning system for track circuit can not only reduce the labor intensity of staff, but also can greatly improve the performance of track circuit and greatly increase the reliability of the track circuit to make the operation of trains safely and efficiently.
