Since the 21st century, the energy shortage and environmental pollution problems highlighted increasingly. Zero emissions, zero pollution, low noise, low energy consumption, these advantages have made Pure electric vehicles to get more and more attention and favor. Power battery has gradually become the most critical part of the development of pure electric vehicles.In consideration of the security,practicbility and persistence of the power battery,battery management system have a vital role.(1) The dissertation compares all kinds of power battery's performance parameters and characteristics, analyse the work principle and characteristics of lithium-ion batteries.Established the Thevenin equivalent circuit model, through multiple HPPC cycle experiment from the charging and discharging process realized the system parameter identification(2) In view of the problem of SOC estimation,analyzed several commonly method of SOC estimation.Through the SOC iterative correction algorithm to solve the problem of the SOC estimation of the power battery.(3) In view of the inconsistency of lithium ion power battery, the dissertation put forward the space restructuring active equalization scheme based on switch matrix. Designed a new power battery equalization topology and control strategy.(4) Analysed the functional requirements and the actual feasibility of the power battery management system, the dissertation designed hardware and software for the system. System adopts centralized/distributed structure design, the main control chip to the overall control of each function module, realize the information collection, the battery pack to charge and discharge management, fault detection and protection, balance control.(5) Through the experiments,we verified that the data acquisition precision of all kinds of information such as voltage, current, temperature sampling meet the requirements.By balancing experiments validate that the effect of each monomer power battery equalization is ideal.
