With the progress of modern aerospace, aviation, ships, electronics and other industrial system of mechanical, equipment is becoming more and more complex, and the constant improvement of the degree of automation, the present state of multiple phase system reliability analysis will become more and more complex. The major equipment systems such as aircraft engine system, detection of aircraft flight control system, cold heat ex-changer and storage systems, these systems in the process of operation in the event of failure, will cause huge human and material losses and other accidents. So, be sure to the system equipment design, manufacture and use of the link should use advanced reliability engineering technology to improve the reliability of major equipment system. Major equipment more complex multi-stage state systems are usually present status, the characteristics of multi-stage tasks, so the theoretical framework in the state, phase out its reliability theory and method of research is particularly important.In this paper, on the basis of existing literature, the multi-stage tasks system reliability problems were studied, the research content mainly includes the following three points:(1) considering components under the conditions for maintenance of multiple phase state analysis of system reliability.For all this chapter considered immutable components, standard of general fault tree is used to solve, with single phase model equivalent to replace the multi-stage tasks system with logical operation. To analyze the single phase model solving; Using standard generalized fault tree make multi-mode system must consider various failure modes can be get more.This paper puts forward the equivalent evaluation algorithm, and in finally the feasibility of this method is verified by examples.(2) considering components may maintenance condition of multiple phase state analysis of system reliability Similar to (1),for all repairable components system is composed of multi-stage tasks, no matter element change happen at the phase boundaries, we all need in phase boundary within the scope of the discrete failure probability and reliability of the system. Consider multi-stage tasks at the same time system in the border of discrete failure probability, and single phase model equivalent to replace the multi-stage tasks system with logical operation. This is due to the system in the phase boundary, the system logic structure will change. Then the system reliability of repairable condition. Equivalent evaluation algorithm is proposed, and in finally the feasibility of this method is verified by examples.(3) considering not repair the components in the different state of multi-stage system reliability analysis.This part focuses on system reliability problems of immutable multi-stage tasks, the binary decision diagram (BDD) method, based on the proposed a method based on weighted binary decision diagram (WBDD) multi-stage tasks system reliability is proposed. Consider system components or products from the perfect state to complete failure in the process, in addition to the two states are not in good condition, and can ensure the completion of the task stage.
