With the development of technology, China’s automotive industry is also developing, the enterprise and quantity of the automotive is also increasing every year, the enterprise and the market for automotive parts and components have more requirements.As one of the important components of automobile parts, the main function of the wheel hub bearing is to bear the weight and provide accurate guidance for the rotation of the wheel.The forming process of the wheel bearing is generally adopted open die forging and the traditional hot closed die forging,the material utilization is not high, also it can not suit the needs of the market.The traditional mode of production has been unable to suit the market development and the needs of the industry, therefore it is lack of competitiveness in the market.Based on the research of inner ring of the wheel hub bearing, the material utilization is improved, and explore the forming process of the inner ring of the wheel bearing.In this paper, the development history of the wheel bearing and the research status domestic and abroad are summarized.The wheel bearing inner ring of the wheel bearing unit is analyzed and its structure characteristic is analyzed.According to the structure characteristic,the forging process of the inner ring of the wheel bearing unit is established.Using Solid Works software to complete the 3D solid modeling of the inner ring of the wheel bearing unit and the reasonable shape and size of the pre forging.Deform-3D simulation software is used to simulate the pre forging and finish forging process of the inner ring.Through the numerical simulation analysis of hub bearing unit inner stress, strain and metal flow state in the forging process,real and intuitive display of the forming process,it has important guiding significance on the research of the forming technology in the actual production.
