In the contemporary era,nonlinear architecture developed rapidly,a large number of nonlinear architecture designs have transformed from paper to reality. In the process of architectural design practice, the architect will face the diversity of the outside world,also complexity and change, suitability design method and the way of thinking has provided a fresh perspective for nonlinear architectural design and practiceIn view of the current nonlinear architecture development and practice,based on suitability theory,discussing the problem in nonlinear architectural design will be of guiding significance. Building cannot be existing out of its site.itself as a complex system,the architect should take natural environment, climate, terrain conditions; Social demand, local construction technology; custom, history and culture into consideration.Among all of these aspects,this artile will emphasize suitability design strategy on the natural environment.The natural environment,such as the climate, geography and other environmental characteristics, shapes people’s way of life, shapes specific culture, and also the architecture. In the architectural design and construction activities, there is a development vein, of which the importance has long been underestimated——natural "design", natural "choice".The natural environment where the architecture is found,consists of geographic conditions, climate factors, natural resources. In this regard, on the one hand,based on the existing geographical environment to do architectural design and make the architecture can have a dialogue with nature landscape;go a step further, responsing to the unique geographical climate,architects will use parametric design method finding form of architecture.On the other hand, architects are required to take suitability on architectural materiality into consideration.
