The train wheels are one of the key parts in all kinds of train equipment and they are also a high-risk product, in order to realize the traceability of the product, they must be tracked during the process of production all-the-way, providing reliable data for quality management, quality of query, billet split reading code device is an important part of the whole tracking system before furnacing.The code is the marking method of train wheel steel billet at usual temperature,code mechines spurt the identifier of spray on one face of billet(another face has no code), crane chuck catches 3-5 wheel steel billets with id code from the yard, putting in the u-shaped slot before into the furnace, according to the production efficiency, the cylinder behind u-shaped slot will pull the billet out of the u-shaped slot, picking them into the annular furnace one by one by manipulator. In order to read the code of several wheel steel billets which are related end to face in the u-shaped plot one by one, we present a cross shaft split reading code device.After determining the solution, under the effect of the main thrust of push rod,the billet in the u-shaped channel is pushed to the double u-shaped seat, finishing reading in double u-shaped seat code, pulling them out of the double u-shaped slot finally.Hydraulic cylinder is the power output, calculating the stress of steel billet, the movement speed, in order to meet the production requirements, selectting the appropriate hydraulic cylinder. The mechines should be suitable for different sizes of billets during the design process, and satisfying the time requirement of the actual production in the process of reading the code, 3D designing for code reading device by Creo 3D software, doing simulation by the ADAMS software movement simulation module for the device,getting the result that simulation animation and sports stress of steel billet. Doing finite elements analysis for horizontal pushing cylinder by software of finite elements, result that the maximum horizontal of pushing cylinder stress at the time of promoting the billet out of double u-shaped seat, and stress is less than the yield strength of material.For the tubing, signal lines, power cords, etc of No.2 scanner, installating the drag chain, solving the problem of the No.1 scanner about the lines. After cutting off the lifting mechanism of the No.1 scanner of support section to the bottom, spot welding in the new production of dangling on a stretcher, designing the proximity switch device again, under the premise of position and movement of No.1 and No.2scanner, it meets the requirement, it overcomes the main cylinder straight forward possible collision proximity switch in the original design and No.1 scanner elevating bracket safty hidden trouble.
