During the "Thirteen Five-Year Plan", the Chinese state have clearly proposed the slogan of building Industrialization, which focuses on the development of prefabricated construction. As a kind of prefabricated buildings, light steel structure has the advantage of fast construction,high degree of industrialization, comprehensive technical and economic indicators, good seismic performance, etc. As a result, the light steel structure has a unique advantage in the application of residential buildings and public buildings, which also complies with planning policies for future development of the steel industry and real estate. So light steel structure is more and more popular in our country.Study on BLUESTAR light steel structure abroad is wide, but at home is rare. For that reason, This text launches research on the application of BLUESTAR steel structure in domestic low layer buildings. On the basis of the load specification of our country, Firstly, finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to analyze light steel structure under vertical load stress situation, and conclusion that the structure could work safely under Vertical Load is drawn; Secondly, using ANSYS to analyze BLUESTAR light steel structure’s mechanical propertties under the horizontal wind load, but also to analyze the effect of reinforcing the overall structural stiffness of the skin panel, and concluds that BLUESTAR light steel can work safely under horizontal wind load is drawn; Thirdly, using ANSYS to analyze BLUESTAR light steel structure’s mechanical propertties in the action of vertical load, horizontal load and horizontal earthquake, and concludes that BLUESTAR light steel can still work safely under the above load joint action is drawn; Finally, using ANSYS time history to analyze the entire structure, seismic performance evaluation, and obtains that BLUESTAR light steel has excellent seismic performance.
