Compared with traditional rotating motor, drive and control for linear motor has advantage in high precision, high energy conversion efficiency, fast response characteristics. In order to further improve the speed response and steady-state accuracy of the permanent magnet synchronous linear motor and suppress the impact of thrust fluctuation on linear motor running, linear motor hardware platform and software platform are designed, and vector control algorithm, SVPWM algorithm, h-infinity control algorithm, zero phase controller were mainly used to control the linear motor, the steady-state performance and dynamic response index achieve good effect.Firstly, the basic working principle of linear motor was introduced, on the basis of the above content, the mathematical model of PMLSM were estabished. After the introduction of vector control and SVPWM algorithm, the whole of PMLSM control strategy was given, setting the fundamental tone for full text.Then Ziger-Nichlol method for setting the parameters of PID controller was introduced, the h-infinity control algorithm and zero phase controller were theoretical analyzed and MATLAB simulation was performed, the simulation results show that the speed of response and the thrust fluctuation rate under the joint action of h-infinity controller and a ZPETC, which were obviously better than traditional PID control method.The hardware and software design is an important part for the whole control system, the hardware part of DSP F2812 board and motor drive board were detailed described. In the software part, analysis of the main program was introduced, and then the flow chart of pulse position control module, photoelectric sensors detecting module, h-infinity control algorithm module, ZPETC algorithm module module, SVPWM algorithm module, the position signal capture module, current sampling module, PID controller module were respectively studied.Finally, in order to verify the actual effect of the whole control system, the routine motion experiment of PMLSM, position error detected by laser interferometer experiment and thrust experiment were conducted. The results show that under the action of ZPETC, the location precision of PMLSM was lower than that of pure PID controller; Under the action of h-infinity controller, the speed response and the thrust fluctuation rate were better than PID controller, these data indicate the effectiveness of the control system design, the foundation has been built for the future study.
