Shooting on vehicle has become a common way, but video may have jitter as vehicle platform may be subject to interference. It has important to make image stabilization as watching the video may bring unnecessary trouble. Compared with several other image stabilization algorithms, electronic image stabilization has advantages in small-size, low-cost, high-precision.For the requirements of real-time and high-precision on vehicle platform, feature point matching algorithm is proposed. In order to meet complex scenarios on vehicle platform, motion estimation algorithm and feature point matching algorithms are compared. Through efficient matching algorithm and further optimized to improve the overall usefulness of the system, the main contents are as follows:1. The characteristics of motion estimation methods is analysed, the most appropriate feature quantity matching algorithm is chosen and the performance and speed of four feature point matching algorithm is compared.2. The image stabilization system is designed. Global motion vector estimation is computed with FAST-FLANN-RANSAC algorithms. Each segment is experimented and reliability and performance are verified.3. The image stabilization system is accomplished and the functions included interface, configuration, image acquisition and image motion estimation are designed.4. The system is debugged and stable video is displayed with test result.
