In recent decades, with the rapid development of economy in Guangdong,the highway also accelerate the construction. More and more highway leading to the mountain area. As the mountainous topography and landform have many difference with the plains, it will encounter a variety of complex problems, especially the Soft soil foundation treatment in mountain area. The physical and mechanical properties of soft soil in mountain is similar to the soft soil in plains,but i has its owe unique engineering properties. Some soft foundation treatment methods in plains may not achieve the desired effect when it dealing with the soft foundation in mountains. So the engineering properties of soft soil in mountains and soft foundation treatment can become a significant research subject.This article taking soft foundation in Guangdong expressway as example,We conducts a survey on soft foundation in mountain area,Procedures can be described as follows.1.Through the collection of Guangdong Province mountainous area more than a typical engineering geological investigation data and geological data. Analyzed its physical and mechanical parameters by using statistical method. Analysis the soft soil’s formation environment, spatial distribution, composition,the physical and mechanical index characteristics. We also analysed the correlation of different physical and mechanical indexs and it shows that the indexs have high correlation. Find the difference of mountain and plain soft soil engineering propertiesand the statistical results in this paper have practical significance for construction in Guangdong mountain soft soil region.2.We have more mature approach in the soft soil foundation treatment in our country,And these methods are usually used in project.We introduced several commonly used soft foundation treatment method in detail. For example: replacement method,ynamic compaction,drainage consolidation method and composite foundation. Combined with the principle of soft foundation treatment method,we analysis its technical features, construction technology, the applicable scope,etc. We also intruduce some influence factors of soft foundation treatment scheme.3.This article based on highway under construction engineering in Guangdong’s mountain area.According to the mountainous area soft soil characteristics and engineering characteristics, We select CFG pile and pipe pile to hand soft ground mountain. By monitoring the deformation data of soft soil foundation analyze the treatment effect of pipe pile and CFG pile. And analyze its applicability on the economy and technology.4.Through the centrifugal model test to simulate different soft ground treatment method,by observing embankment deformation characteristics analysis the applicability of soft soil foundation treatment.
