Soft Soil Foundation Treatment Technique And In Highway Construction Application

In geotechnical engineering, it is necessary to build more high-grade highway. But because of the specialty of coastal geology, there often exists the deep soft soil layer under the roadbed along the road. The function and economic effect of road construction invest are always discounted by the unsuccessful soft skim provident engineering. So, the quality of doing with the soft soil directly affects the bearing ability of the bed of road, and it is the key to guarantee the road running safe land efficiently when it is built. Hence with respect to the road construction under the specified geological conditions, the rational choice of the soft improvement technology and corresponding techniques is very important.Firstly, the characteristic of soft soil was recommended,and the consolidation property and theological property of the coastal soft soil, general regulation of settlement of which was studied in this paper. Secondly, this paper has systematically summarized and introduced the state-of-art; design theory of the present soft soil improvement technology, especially the application premises and implemental technological procedures. BeiWeiDi road in Tianjin Dagang area,for the original earth of the project were fish pond, the surface of the geology mostly is slime, mud. By the theory, we introduce in detail the unsatisfactory result and their construction method. The geological condition after disposal can completely meet the requirement of this project. The methods of foundation treatment in road are eminently successful. Finally, we suggest we should observe the horizontal and vertical deformation and water press of soil in construction, in order to avoid the huge accident and to ensure the quality of construction.
