With the development of the central and western regions, the construction of Chongqing area is booming. However, Chongqing’s topography especially the Three Gorges Reservoir is ups and downs here and there leading the construction land is very very short. In order to adapt to the development of economy and population, many regions such as Wanzhou, Fengjie.etc have to begin filling reclamation for land. The soil-rock mixture(S-RM) become more and more commonly used filling material because of low cost and convenient material, thus,forming a large number of S-RM filling foundations and reservoir bank slopes. S-RM is a complex body, which is composed of two distinct materials, rock and soil. The global property of the soil rock mixture is strongly inhomogeneous, discontinuous and nonlinear.This thesis establish the S-RM actual project structure model by high density resistivity method combining with the technique of digitial image processing.By the means of Continuum Discontinuum Element Method(CDEM), S-RM foundation bearing capacity and the slope stability is studied. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the Fairy Lake No. 13 block revetment engineering, based on high density resistivity prospecting principle and digital image processing technology is proposed to establish a new method for the project site soil-rock mixture actual geometric model. The soil-rock mixture actual engineering site geometry model is obtained.(2)The use of CDEM numerical simulation of Fairy Lake No. 13 plots the bearing capacity of the foundation, and compared with the field test. The results show that CDEM can be used for simulating the material of soil-rock mixture very well.(3)Establish soil-rock mixture random model with the help of ANSYS and research how amount of stone and soil mechanical parameters effect on the bearing capacity of soil-rock mixture foundation. The failure model and bearing capacity of soil rock mixture foundation are greatly influenced by the rock content and soil mechanical parameters.(4) Analysis of the overall stability of the rank slope considering different conditions of rainfall, reservoir water level’s slowly descending and sharply descending is performed on Fairy Lake No.13 block revetment engineering. Under each condition, stability coefficient and failure zone of the overall rank slope are calculated.
