Traditional surge test adopts the method that testing engineer observes and records the indicator lights on the panel of EUT. This method have the problem of test heavy workload, inefficiency and testing result estimate with less gist, strong subjectivity and not trace to the source. With the title "Automatic EUT Performance Recording & Analyzing System Used in Surge Test", the thesis researches on electric-parameters detection method, status lamps pattern recognition method based on k-NN, system integration and software realization. It has important engineered value and practical significance for development of surge test automation in EMC. The research work is supported by Young Technicians project of China electric appliance science research institute co., LTD(SQRV2014008).The research work of this thesis includes automatic EUT performance recording & analyzing system framework design, electric-parameters detection method, status lamps pattern recognition method based on k-NN and software design. Is also verifies the result and function of surge test. Primary work includes:(1) The new automatic EUT performance recording & analyzing system framework is design. On based of traditional surge test system, The new system framework adds electric-parameters detection sub-system, EUT status lamps pattern recognition sub-system and relationship-temporal database management system. It also analyzes the implementation scheme of key technology.(2) It researches electric-parameters detection sub-system. It proposes and sets up electric-parameters acquisition system based on oscilloscope and power analyzer. It analyzes and researches equipment surge reliability test and configuration of oscilloscope MDO3034, power analyzer PA1000 and test software.(3) It proposes status lamps sample fast train method based on HSI color space and status lamps pattern recognition technique based on k-NN. It focuses to research image quick denoising technology and status lamps pattern recognition and state classification method.(4) Automatic surge test software system based on Lab VIEW is designed and realized. It divides database space rationally, designes data dictionary and researches data structure diagram of temporal database.Finally, the function of automatic EUT performance recording & analyzing system is verified by experiments. The experiments result shows that the system can detect electric-parameters including RMS voltage Urms, RMS current Irms, active powe Pr and surge transient voltage Upk. The result also shows that the system can capture flicker of EUT status lamps accurately and recognize bright or extinguishment of the status lamps. The system can judge surge test result accurately.
