Human-computer interaction technology and user interface are moving in the direction of natural harmony mode. Interactive interface diversifies and develops with digital features. More and more digital interfaces are used in modern cars, in order to make it easier for people to read information and operate on the platform. Natural interaction and ergonomics make drivers read, understand and operate easily and quickly on the automotive's interior multimedia interface. The quality of information presentation and interaction should be improved. It analyzes the performance of driver's visual perception and failures. It answers the problem of interface information cognition and safe driving, using eye tracking experiments to identify and find visual perception problems. Finally, it designs digital interfaces of car.Information elements of digital interface are sorted, listed, classified, beautified here. Firstly, the dynamic display of information presentation summarizes in 12 classes. Secondly, classifications of car dashboard's layouts and symbols are listed. Then, it analyzes the layouts and design of the interface inside cab, especially car's digital interface, the new form of visual information organization and presentation.Currently, there are little research on car driver's visual perception during driving and perception mistakes for the car's interior interface information. However, traffic accidents occurred, mostly because of driver's distraction, especially visual attention inefficiencies and mistakes. Based on cognitive psychology, behavioral science, human reliability and other aspects of cognitive model, it states the types and classification methods of human errors, and thus presumably generates four kinds of causes of human errors. Classification framework of human error is established based on information processing model. Classification framework of four factors of human error is also established.Eye tracking technology is becoming mature, here proposes an innovative way to apply eye tracking test on car driver, studying visual information cognitive errors according to driving tasks. It aims to find out the reasons of car driver's visual cognition mistakes. It analyzes driver's visual perception and visual attention on automotive interior visual information, and finds out situations of visual cognitive errors using eye tracking experiment. Experiment data is analyzed and rules are found. In the end, digital interfaces are designed, to reduce or eliminate some of the cognitive mistakes, optimize visual information presentation, and enhance driving experience. By redesigning interface information, it improves people's effectiveness and satisfaction about interface.
