In recent years, the general aviation industry develops rapidly. Many general aviation airports are under construction or planning to be built in many cities. The design of airport especially runway length of airport needs to be determined according to the performance of the aircraft type. In the airlines' operations, carriers also need to analyze aircraft performance.The increasing calculation of general aviation aircraft performance brings the urgent demand for the development of general aviation's aircraft performance analyzing tools.Y-12 E is a common type of aircraft which appears usually in China's General Aviation Airports. This paper tries to improve the traditional calculation method which takes a lot of time and easy to make faults by manually looking up in the manual of aircraft performance.Considering the manual of Y-12 E aircraft performance, taking the airworthiness stipulate of commuting aircraft in CCAR-23, at the same time taking mature theory of aircraft performance into account, the aircraft performance analyzing software of Y-12 E is developed.Firstly, Y-12 E aircraft takeoff performance, landing performance and flight plan are analyzed. Based on aircraft performance analysis, data processing and algorithms related to aircraft performance calculations are studied. In the aircraft performance data processing of Y-12 E, in order to realize the digitization of paper charts, by using the transform relation between Windows screen coordinates and image coordinates, a number sampling tool for paper charts is developed, The tool realizes the image importing, calibrating, data reading and acquisition of charts which improves the processing speed of charts digitization. Further the method using the curve fitting toolbox of Matlab for data completion is put forward.Triangulation and Barycentric interpolations method is used to interpolate calculation. Using scarreredInterpolant function of MATLAB to verify interpolation calculation and to prove the correctness of the method and results.Then this paper introduces the development process of Y-12 E Aircraft Performance Analysis software. The software includes mainly four modules that are airport management,take-off performance analysis, landing performance analysis and flight plan, the function and the calculation method of each module are analyzed in detail. The basic performance tables and airport information database are stored in SQLite Database format. The software is developed in C++ language with Qt frame, the following maintenance and expanding are guaranteed by modularized framework architecture development idea.Finally, verifying the take-off module, landing module, flight plan module by specific examples, prove that the calculating method of Y-12 E aircraft performance calculating software is correct and can be used as aircraft performance analyzing software of Y-12 E.
