The route safety interval refers to the aircrafts should keep a certain distance to ensure the safety. The route interval acts an important role in reducing the collision risk and improving the utilization of airspace. With the develop of navigation facilities and the route structures adjusted,the safety assessment and safety interval should be updated,so the research of route safety interval is necessary.The paper assessed the current route safety from three angles of route operation.First of all, with the Beijing-Kunming one-way cycle route as a polit project in December 2013, the paper discussed interval of the airplanes across adjacent level based on relevant departments. This paper considered the affection of navigation and positioning tolerance to safety interval, and put forwards three adjacent aircrafts collision risk models.The paper evaluated our current one-way route operation interval, and carried out the security operation interval and route capacity by using the model.Secondly, a dynamic optimization model of the intersection interval: it was based on the“first come first service” principle and relative speed, providing reasonable dynamic interval standard for intersections. The paper calculates the corresponding longitudinal reserves under the standard of security level, at the same time, it established a lateral reserve according to the adjacent aircraft relative airspeed. The guard line is the larger one of the longitudinal reserve and the lateral reserve.Finally, the paper established the models and calculated the multiple aircrafts rapid interval deployment during their cruising on one-way route: firstly, the establishment of the macroscopic model can improve the utilization rate of the airspace. Then this paper optimized aircrafts flow interval in the microscopic view to ensure the safety of the airspace. Based on the reasons of unreasonable intervals, this paper designs the corresponding arrangement scheme.
