Study On Sample Combined Expansion Method And Evaluation Of Household Trip Survey

Household Travel Survey(HTS) is the fundamental work to scientifically constitute the strategy, policy and technical legislation of transportation development. The accuracy of the survey result is the key to truly reflect the characteristic of population. The difficulty of “random sampling” in the survey and the increase of silent demand both result in the fact that the accuracy of survey result depends more on the sample expansion procedure. Therefore, it becomes more and more important to do research on the theory and method of sample expansion.First, this paper discusses the importance of data expansion of the household travel survey from the perspective of the household travel survey theory, then establish the combined-expansion model of heterologous based on data fusion by using the travel survey, social economic and other heterogeneous data. Besides, a verification model is built based on the verification line flow with principle of maximum entropy, which can further optimize the direct result. What's more, the evaluation index system of sampling expansion results is constructed based on bootstrap resampling theory,which calibrates the confidence interval value sampling expansion after general characteristics, and provides a way for evaluation of results of sampling expansion. And then when the method is applied to the Jiaxing City resident trip survey data sampling expansion, it is convinced that sampling expansion results which are based on the heterologous data and checked by measured flow can better reflect the overall urban travel characteristics and most of the expansion of the overall eigenvalue also satisfy index value of index evaluation system. The results of case study show that the method of combination of the expansion method optimizes the process of data expansion, and improves the accuracy of the expansion. The results of the trip distribution can better fit the measured flow at the same time. The evaluation results also show the effectiveness of the method of combined-expansion.This paper systematically implemented the process from combined-expansion to data-check into the evaluation of the household travel survey data, and lay a theoretical foundation for the practical application of the expansion of the household travel survey. Also this paper provide the ideas and methods which can make full use of the data of household trip survey to study the overall trip characteristics of the city.
