Rock and soil slopes along the slope within the weakness with integral moving down the phenomenon known as the landslide. Reservoir landslide closely related to reservoir construction and operation. It has a lot in common with general landslides,Also has its particularity. Its particularity is manifested in the following aspects:(1) complexity and concealment;(2)reservoir landslide have lots of distribution points and transportation.(3)water wave effect is obvious;(4)the influence of landslide is bad,the unstability consequence is serious.Golden gorge water conservancy project is an important part of Shaanxi Hanjiang to Weihe River transfer Project,which is the first cascade reservoir upstream of the Hanjiang River and one of the two water source of Hanjiang to Weihe River transfer Project. Its primary task is intercepting and storing water,raising water levels, mainly to water supply,both power generation. 2# landslide is about 1.9km upriver from the recommend damsite of Golden gorge water conservancy project, whether the landslide in reservoir during operatio is stable.it's important to the dam's safety and the normal operation after the completion of the reservoir. Therefore, the study of 2# landslide's stability is very important.Based on the scene investigation and data collection, through varied geological reconnaissance means, firstly analysed the geological background of landslide area, by the research to the geography characteristic,the characteristics of the material composition,the characteristic of the deformation and failure, the formation mechanism and the instability mechanism of the landslide were analyzed. Because of the landslide stability is influenced by varied factors, a single method has certain limitations,so this paper found a geological model of 2# landslide, introduce limit equilibrium method and Lagrange finite difference method to the stability analysis of landslide, makes assessment for the landslide's stability and analyses the distribution characters of stress field,deformation field of landslide with FLAC3 D software, calculates the thrust acting on the landslip,on the basis of which a tentative preventative program is put forward and the landslide stability after treatment is checked.This research leads to the following conclusion: the stability of 2# landslide results from topography, interaction between stratum rock properties, material composition of slope and Hydrogeological conditions. Both reservoir water level and rainstorm infiltration become major factors which maybe results in increasing of deformation and instability of landslide body that affect the stability of landslide. Landslide occurred mainly due to topography and the structural characteristics of slope.The natural stability of landslide is bad, which maybe results in increasing of deformation and instability of landslide body in the reservoir and the effect of rainfall. In view of slide characters and actual project, this paper This paper puts forward a comprehensive set of fathering programs through slide-resistant pile or cutting slope and reducing load,and the program of cutting slope and unloading is better.
