With the rapid development of modern technology, reliability and durability requirements of construction machinery products is also more and more high. Wheel loader which is the most common usually is matching twin turbo planetary gearbox. It is due to the combined use of the hydraulic torque converter and overrun clutch, the loader with planetary gearbox has the strong cross. It can adjust the output torque automatically according to the working conditions, in order to adapt to the change of resistance, and the completion of the loading operations. The roller overrun clutch of loader planetary gearbox is mainly used for the dynamic integration of the torque converter turbine I, II, passed to the corresponding transmission gear, so as to realize the high speed and light load, low speed and heavy load switch.The wheel loader is widely matching the roller overrun clutch, which has generally the isolation frame structure, which is easy to appear the uneven force when the roller is working, so that the isolation frame is abraded, even fractured. This overrun clutch trouble free service period is short, about 2000 hours. In this paper, the non isolation frame overrun clutch unused the isolation frame, so it avoids the isolation frame machining error caused by the uneven, resulting in each roller of the uneven stress. The every roller of the non isolation frame overrun clutch separate bearing spring force, uniform stress. In order to improve the reliability and durability of the wheel loader, 3T wheel loader of the overrun clutch of planetary gearbox is chief research object. With theory research, ANSYS Workbench analysis, optimum design and experiment research, the overrun clutch the reliability is verified after the optimization, optimization design for clutch and solve the early failure problem of reference, and provided a new research method for the optimum design and experiment research of the overrun clutch.The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:(1) this paper analyzes of the structure characteristics of the overrun clutch. With Hertz Theory and ANSYS Workbench, under the condition of wedge overrun clutch roller contact stress analysis.(2) This paper analyzes structural characteristics of the overrun clutch leaf spring. With the theory of strain energy, the energy method and the principle of calculus of spring stiffness and stress analysis. Through the spring on the experimental data was conducted to verify the accuracy of theoretical analysis. In the spring of the static stress analysis and fatigue life are using the ANSYS Workbench.(3) On overrun clutch of planetary gearbox structure optimization design, using optimum design method and MATLAB numerical analysis optimize the design of the overrun clutch of planetary gearbox.(4) Experimental analysis of the overrun clutch of planetary gearbox, the fatigue life of the leaf spring, the overrun clutch of planetary gearbox performance test and the overrun clutch of planetary gearbox reliability bench test, to verify the accuracy of theoretical and simulation analysis, proved the theory, simulation and experiment are consistent.
