Development Of CVS System Control System For Internal-combustion Engine Emissions Measurement

The increasingly serious smog has affected people's daily life—especially inhabitants in Beijing, Hebei, Shandong and other places suffering much. Along with the rapid growing number of cars, more and more automobile exhaust emissions become larger reason of atmospheric pollution and haze. And that is why automobile exhaust emissions attract extensive attention from the society. Every country enacts increasingly strict laws and regulations on automobile emission. Moreover, automobile manufacturers advance and improve auto exhausting technology to reduce vehicle emission pollutants gas pollution, among which emission test technology and equipment play a great role.This paper mainly studies the national professional laboratory CVS equipment in automobile power performance and emission test of national professional laboratory of BIT. Rematch master control computer and I/O boards for CVS device, confirming the centralized controlling system as its system controlling solution. Based on the AK protocol—communication protocol between the AVL emission test equipments, the paper also demonstrates how the CVS system controlling software is developed, that is using the serial port communication technology, object-oriented development tools Delphi and programming technology with the purpose of developing simple operated, user-friendly and reliable control software.The successfully develop of CVS system controlling software restores the air bag sampling and particle sampling function of the original system. Further, it makes much easier for users to operate by the friendly interface and avoids cost rise because of the system equipment upgrade, which achieves the researching goal of this paper.
