Depending on the outstanding performance in the local wars, guided bombs have gradually become an important part of the precision strike weapons on the informatization battlefield in recent years. The design of guidance laws has great effect on the circular error probability of guided bombs, and it has become a hot and difficult issue in the guidance field. Therefore, the guidance law for guided bombs is deeply studied in this paper. Based on the analysis of current work, a fuzzy sliding mode guidance law with multiple guidance constraints is designed, and a simulation platform of guided bombs is established. The whole ballistic trajectory of guided bomb is simulated to verify the reasonableness of the proposed guidance law. Specific works are as follows:(1) The external forces and moments impacted on the guided bomb are firstly analyzed.Then, the dynamics and kinematics equations of the guided bomb are established to build a six degrees of freedom space motion model, which providing the theoretical foundation for the following research;(2) The ballistic trajectory of guided bomb can be divided into scheme trajectory and guidance trajectory. In the period of scheme trajectory, the flying range of guided bomb is effectively improved by designing the angle of attack. In the period of guidance trajectory, a new sliding mode guidance law is proposed to guarantee a large attitude of the angle of attack, which effectively improves the penetration ability of the guided bomb;(3) The guidance time for the guidance time is limited. In order to make sure that the angle of light-of-sight(LOS) can converge in time, a fuzzy sliding mode guidance law with finite time convergence is designed. The chattering resistance ability of the guidance system has been obviously improved by the introduction of fuzzy control, which effectively enhance the stability of the guided bomb;(4) A guidance simulation platform for guided bomb is built in Matlab/Simulink. In the guidance system, the fuzzy sliding mode guidance law is chosen in the vertical plane, while the proportional guidance law is chosen in the lateral plane. And in the control system, the traditional PID control is adopted. The entire trajectory of guided bomb is simulated by considering the wind noise. The simulation shows that this combined guidance law can satisfy the technical indicators of penetration attack.Finally, the whole works are summarized, and the existing problems and the futureresearch direction are also presented.
