Based on the research in Ben Teng Primary Substation parameter measurement and the Modern Smart Grid general conception, this paper focuses on the problems found by electric industry staff during their work, such as equipment secondary power cable layout and fault finding, launching specific researching work.The whole scheme includes three parts. Firstly, the oil temperature in the No.1 and No.2 main transformers in Ben Teng Primary Substation is measured. And then the electric power parameter in substation grid, such as the voltage and the current is accepted, achieving the target of real-time power parameters measurement. Secondly, this paper achieves the information collection and the human-machine interaction. Finally, the result is able to help staff find the abnormal alarm and report recording.This paper proposes a solution based on the Wifi wireless sensor network technology to reduce the layout of the measuring power cable, researching the hardware structure of the power system measuring parameter system and stating the development of the wireless sensor network and the development of the master computer Real Bridge SCADA.The major works are:Based on the Wifi wireless sensor network technology's relevant theory and networking mode, the general structure of the Wifi wireless sensor network is analyzed in this paper. Besides, the hardware structure for the sensor node, the wireless module and the system software are designed.Study the Real Bridge SCADA of the electric power parameter measuring system, using Real Bridge SCADA design master computer and real time communication with wireless module by using serial port. Using human machine interface in the Real Bridge Software to collect data and display and save the data by using real-time report, curve, history report.This paper tests the serial communication between the wireless module and the Real Bridge software, validating the communication between the wireless module and the SCADA. The data is normal displayed. Therefore, the whole scheme proposes a technical support for the stable operation of power system and the automatic substations.
