With the development of modern enterprise automation,the technical of computer controlplay an important role in modern control system,combing with computer technical andautomation control theory. PLC technical and Network is the base of CIMS,at the sametime,PLC technical is one of modern automation three support (PLC,robot and CAD/CAM)Frst,the paper is discussed about the PLC and net working principle and realizingmethod,and then mainly study the dredge control and monitior system of "xin hai tun"which ia acutter dredge ship,,and make a compositive dredge control system with PLC technology.this oneadopts a advanced,compositive,network distributed and complete SCADA dredge monitoringsystem,the lower nets,collect the datas of all the ship’s hydraulic system,all the dredge equipmentsand automatic power by the,and control automatically,and the topper display the figure of all theship’s system and operate them,and analyze the datas and faults that are produced duringdredging.,then store or print them.Compared with the traditional dredge control system, this article do some improvement:(1) the ship with6pulse frequency converter, which active harmonics effluence (THD)up to13.6%, in order to avoid the affection for signal transmission, we use optical fiber ring networkinstead of shielded twisted pair, which is much faster and more reliable.(2) the system is configured with2servers, all ship workstation, PLC can gather and storedata through real-time database.the2data server work redundantly, meantime they can use ashistorical data server. When1data server fails, the other1standby server automatic start in10S,ensure that uninterrupted supply for the ship’s workstation and PLC.1server is used for historicaldata storage.non real-time data analysis and processing.(3) the human interface of this system is scientific and reasonable, much more accustomedfor user. the background of HMI is black, which is convenient for night operation. Importantdates are marked with yellow, the others are gray, and the histogram is blue. as so manyinformation in the screen, the important data are highlighted which is bigger and more colorful.
