In this paper, it studies the minimum cost inventory control problem of air materiel inventory system. Air materiel inventory control is an important part of civil aviation aircraft maintenance management. For example, civil aircraft tire, a longer period tire number can be viewed as a random process. It analyses the collected tire data, erects the process and system model. On this basis, it designs air materiel inventory optimization system using minimum variance control theory. It researches a dynamic control method that can reduce inventory cost under the condition of ensuring the supply of air materials. Taking tire as an example, it designs the maintenance system and realizes inventory management system optimal operation.It analyses tire wastage process and determines its statistical laws. On this basis, it designs the stock system with the minimum variance control and model predictive control theory. Simulation results show that both the control methods can reduce inventory cost under the condition of ensuring the supply of air materials.It analyses and designs the system with the minimum variance control theory and model predictive control theory. It chooses proper design parameters, ensures robust stability and robust performance of the system. It focus on the minimum variance control method and DMC model predictive control method, while in-depth studies the application in the air materiel inventory control problems of these two methods. It simulates and researches the system that implements or not control method by MATLAB, gives a corresponding inventory control results. And it analyses the simulation results. Simulation results show that the analysis and design of the air materiel inventory control system with minimum variance control theory and robust control theory is reasonable. It provides theory reasons and new ideas for the airline air materiel inventory optimization.
