Economic development and energy crisis both exist nowadays, as the iconic technology of distributed energy system, Combined Cooling Heating and Power(CCHP) has the advantage of energy cascade utilization, environmental protection, and reliable power supply, receiving more and more attention around the world, and increasingly used in engineering practice.In this paper, Yiwu railway station complex to be constructed is chosen as the engineering example. Research the feasibility of CCHP system and make a design for it. By the methods such as software DeST simulation, annual 8760 hours of cooling and heating load could be got based on architectural drawing. The annual electrical load of the building could be estimated based on types of building power consumption. According to the characteristics of hourly load, gas turbine and waste heat boiler are selected as the basic configuration of CCHP system. In summer, the steam operated absorption refrigerating machine uses steam puduced by waste hest boiler for cooling. In winter, the system uses heat exchanger for heating and making hot water. And in accordance to the principle of ‘Electricity production for own consumption, waste heat fully used', the capacity and specific model of driving device are selected for CCHP system.According to the energy flow balance and constraint relations of the system equipments, the operating conditions of energy supply system should be studied in different patterns, such as Following the Heating Load(FHL), Following the Power Load(FPL) and Separation Production(SP) system. The annual datas shows that much purchase power while less surplus power in the pattern of FHL, and less purchase power while much residual heat in the pattern of FPL. As the reference by the corresponding parameters of SP system, the evaluation index that related to energy efficiency, economy and environmental protection, of CCHP system in the pattern of FHL and FPL should be calculated and analyzed. By introducing Comprehensive Evaluation Index(CEI), the conclusion can be drawn that FPL pattern is better than FHL pattern. That is more efficient in energy saving for this station complex by using CCHP system in FPL pattern.
