Urban public green space is not only an important part of urban ecosystem, but also the important place for residents of daily travel activities. And along with the age of population aging, the old people gradually become the main groups of the use of green space, and the proportion is rising; With the rapid urbanization, the problem of accessibility to urban Green Space in the main area of Harbin is gradually increasing; And the application of GIS technology in the domain of accessibility provides an accurate and effective way for the evaluation of green space accessibility. Thus, the purpose of this paper mainly includes: Explore the current status of public green space travel of the old people in the main urban area of Harbin; Assess the status of GS accessibility of the old people in the main urban area of Harbin; Develop the GS accessibility optimization scheme of Harbin. The significance of the study includes: To master the status of GS travel in the main urban area of Harbin, and provide the basis for the accessibility analysis; To find the reason of the problem of the public green space accessibility of the old people in winter; On the basis of the evaluation results, This article formulate the strategy of city accessibility optimization and region accessibility optimization scheme based on the city environment of Harbin, and provide basis for urban planning and construction work.This paper discusses the classification of GS and the use of GS in Harbin and define the concept of urban public green space, to make it more consistent with the daily use of the residents; In addition, it also from the perspective of theory and reality and discusses the influence factors of GS accessibility, and taking this as the basis of selecting the relative factors of the comprehensive evaluation results of the relatively objective assessment method as the research method; The analysis of public green space accessibility in the main urban area of Harbin mainly includes the GS travel analysis and the GS accessibility analysis. And the GS accessibility analysis includes the walking accessibility to GS for the old people in winter,Non-Motor Vehicle accessibility to GS for the old people, Vehicle accessibility to GS for the old people; Macro optimization strategy based on the market environment of the city is the starting from the two aspects of optimizing the spatial distribution of green space and improving the green street traffic network, to solve the problem of equity and efficiency of public green space service at the planning level. Finally, on the basis of the analysis of the results of the optimization strategy,the author takes the highlight the accessibility problem city area as an example to develop the optimal scheme. Research methods involved in the research mainly include the research analysis, network analysis and typical case studies.The results show that: the travel mode to GS in the main urban area of Harbin is single and mainly on foot, travel time is significantly shorter than the summer;The service area ratio of GS of the elderly in winter is 52.64%- accessibility issues is quite outstanding. And accessibility issues of the area on the surrounding of the city is particularly serious; Comparative analysis showed that: The walking accessibility of Songbei District, Hulan District and Pingfang District is quite low and the service area ratio is lower than 40%. The accessibility of the area that located in the south of Songhua River is good. But there is also some residential areas which exist accessibility problem; In addition, there are also some problems in the park GS. Among them, the non-motor vehicle accessibility problems of the Linear Park, Community Park, Square GS is prominent, the vehicle accessibility of the Comprehensive Park and the Theme Park is good.The distribution of GS in Harbin is the main reason of the accessibility problem.The fast traffic system of urban motor vehicle has a great influence on the communication and validity of the slow traffic system. In one hand of green space accessibility optimization strategy, we should put forward the strategy of optimizing the urban built-up area of Harbin City, the urban construction system of new urban areas, the local adjustment of urban land use, the improvement of green streets,street green space and green space in the surrounding areas. Finally, the study plans to develop the relevant strategies to develop the city’s situation, and the situation analysis is carried out, too. After optimization, the accessibility of public GS can be improved obviously, basically meet the needs of residents of public GS activities. To some extent, the optimization scheme can solve the problem of public GS accessibility.
