Continuous descent approach is a new approach technology be vigorously promoted by European and American. On the international, the technology has been made more widely used. In 2013, the Civil Aviation Administration of China published the Advisory Circular about Continuous Descent Final Approach(CDFA), and has carried on the comprehensive promotion in different places. It is particularly important to research on the safety of the technology.On the basis of the literature research, the research analyzed the safety of the key steps in the process of CDFA. Meanwhile, created a CDFA safety margin evaluation model, and the safety margin evaluation be established. In the first place, the safety of CDFA has been analyzed through three aspects, respectively for normal condition, abnormal condition, the coordination and communication of aircrew. In the second place, founded the evaluation index system about aircrew workload and safety margin. In the end, according to the results of questionnaire score evaluation system analyzed the workload weighting factor of normal and abnormal condition. Calculate the parameter indexes at all levels with cloud model, as well as using MATLAB software to run the related codes of reverse cloud generator, generating the corresponding distribution map of cloud model. The operation of the high work load steps be concluded by analysis, and put forward the corresponding security improvement.The analysis shows that the workload of the pilot who implements CDFA process will be significantly improved when there is something wrong with the coordination and communication of aircrew, and its safety margin is the minimum; meanwhile, people should also pay attention to the increasing workload of pilots when they calculate the decline rate of aircraft.So far, the domestic research about the safety of CDFA human factors are not conducted,therefore, the paper is innovative for CDFA human factors safety research. At the same time,the research has a certain reference value for the use of CDFA in our country.
