| During the last thirty years, because of the government policy, China economy has been through a quick promotion. As a strategy industry of economy, civil aviation also exist in a period of great development. However, due to the great development and restriction of limit airspace, the phenomenon which aircrafts have delayed for air-traffic congestion happens frequently. Besides, those development brings another serious problem which is ATC workload growing. Air traffic controllers are the principal part of air traffic system, and they play important roles in efficiency and safety of aviation. Monitoring ATC workload in real-time can avoid the phenomenon of work overload, which can promote efficiency and safety of aviation.At first, this research use sequence diagram to describe the interactive process of ATC,finding which kinds of indexes can evaluate controllers’ workload effectively. Then we choose 16 students who have air traffic control experience as subjects, and build up a simulation control experiment, using eye tracker and voice equipment to record data. Then we use kinds of statistic methods to analyze those interactive indexes recording in equipment,hoping to find some relationship between interactive index and ATC workload. Based on this relationship, we build up a regression model to evaluate ATC workload. Firstly, we use difficulty of task as classified variables and evaluation indexes as Observed Variables to perform analysis of variance, and come to a conclusion, nine kinds of interactive indexes having apparent relationship with ATC workload. Secondly, using relativity feature between eye movement indexes, we perform a factor analysis to build up a comprehensive factor to reduce the dimension of evaluation. Thirdly, we use subjective workload as output factor, and use comprehensive factor and vocal indexes as input factors to build up a regression model,verifying the applicability of model condition. At last, we combine the regression model and recorded data to evaluate ATC workload, and make a correlation analysis between ATC workload which we evaluate and subjective workload, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of regression model. The results show that the regression model can evaluate ATC workload effectiveness in real-time. |
