Human factor is the main cause of the flight accident, and the improper handling of workloadis one of the most important reasons which can lead to human errors. Therefore, the study of thehuman error in the operations and workload is particularly important to flight safety. In this paper, human error analysis method is studied, and the evaluation method of pilot workload is deeplyresearched based on the design and implementation of flight simulation test.In a long time, the most investigation and analysis of accident has ignored the deep reason, and the basis of fundamentally prevent the accident has been lost. This article is based onHFACS, combined with the expert subjective evaluation method and grey system theory todevelop a comprehensive analysis model, which is applicable to analyze the human error in theaviation accident. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by examples.Based on physiological indexes which are got from simulated flight, so that the basis ofdetailed study on the pilot workload can be provided: the stages and operations of flight arestudied, in order to guide the flight simulation test; identify and implement the simulated flighttest plan; according to the demand of research, data is collected and processed, and validity ofthe test data is confirmed.Based on the analysis and comparison of the specific indicators of EEG and ECG, theindicators of the EEG and ECG which can be used to characterize the workload are confirmed, they are heart rate variation, LF, brain electric power, the occurrence rate of wave, waveand wave; With Principal component analysis (PCA), and the specific evaluation index ofworkload, the evaluation results show that evaluation score reflect the overall workload, and theevaluation results reflect the overall trend of workload; according to the objective and subjectiveevaluation results show that the different flight phases of subjects has remarkable effect on theworkload.
