At present, traditional measurement for big work pieces is not only inefficient, but also impossible without the orbit as long as work pieces to be measured. So it is very important to study the method and technology by laser interferometer without orbit. And it is a significative task to actualize Laser Tracking Measurement System(LTMS) using the traditional laser interferometer. LaserTracer and laser tracker are two kinds of measuring instruments as the development of LTMS. Laser tracker follows the target passively, however, LaserTracer follows the target actively according to the path arranged.This work is to design a LaserTracer, which is used for calibrating CNC equipment, such as Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM) and CNC Machine Tool, based on the foundation of traditional commercial LTMS. This work provides technical reserves for the independent and innovative research of the LTMS in our country. This dissertation focuses on the study of laser tracking control system of the LTMS. The main works of this dissertation are as following:(1) Design the laser tracking control system based on the STC15F2K60S2 MCU and motion control card MPC08 SP respectively.(2) Design the hardware circuit board, including the photoelectric detection circuit for interference fringe, the I/V transformation and signal processing circuit for the signal of quadrant photodiode, the AD acquisition circuit and the motor control circuit.(3) According to the operation principle of quadrant photodiode, derive the mathematical model between the output signal of quadrant photodiode and the spot offset in diagonal algorithm based on polar coordinate formula and coordinate transformation formula. And complete the verification experiment of the mathematical model.(4) Design a stable and reliable digital PID controller. Complete the motor selection and derive the transfer function of tracking control system. Simulate and adjust the control parameters of the by the Simulink in MATLAB.
