With the development of social economy, people's transportation network is gradually expanding, and the means of transportation is constantly improved. As a kind of common choice of travel road, the highway is becoming more and more popular. However, at present the highway still exists some security risks, especially in the weather of rain, snow, hail, wind and other adverse travel, highway safety to be solved. The factors that occur in the highway under the combined bad weather are the important factors of the speed. Therefore, this paper conducts a research on the control of the vehicle speed in the severe weather conditions, in order to reduce the occurrence of high speed accidents, and make the traffic more secure.Through searching for information, the causes of traffic accidents in China in recent years are summarized, and the factors affecting the occurrence of accidents are analyzed, and the factors of visibility and pavement friction coefficient are analyzed. At present, the research of this field is limited, and the actual effect of the highway is not significant. The research of this thesis can promote the traffic safety of high speed road, which has certain practical significance and research significance.This article explains the freeway driving speed limit of rules. It analyzes the vehicle speed and the driver's driving judgment and the influence of train operation safety. This paper combine with the different types of weather conditions, respectively analyzes the speed of impact factor, so as to put forward feasible Suggestions and measures for the administration.
