Integration is the most important direction of the development of avionics system. However, due to the introduction of avionics integrated technology, the security risk is becoming more and more serious. The research on the theory and method of IMA system security assessment is very important and it also has very important significance and practical value for the construction of aviation security system in China. In this paper, based on in-depth study of IMA security features and comprehensive evaluation methods, a comprehensive evaluation method for the safety of the IMA framework based on the airworthiness certification with the combination of qualitative and quantitative is proposed.(1)The security evaluation model and safety evaluation index system for the airworthiness certification is established.In this paper, through the deep study of the influential standards of airworthiness certification and design guidelines in the fields of avionics engineering such as RTCA/DO-178 B, RTCA/DO-254 and STANAG 4626, the ASAAC Organization released in 2005 STANAG 4626 Volume 7 is selected as a benchmark, a security model with IMA architecture is proposed. The security model adopts 3-tier architecture of target layer, factor layer and index layer, which is more reasonable to divide and define the security component of IMA architecture. Then, the paper analyzes the different cognition and analysis of the security features in the existing literature, and gives a weight value with the general evaluation of the security model by using the analytic hierarchy process.(2) A security assessment method based on the theory of MMTD(Measure of Medium Truth Degree) is proposed for the IMA architecture.The security assessment of IMA architecture is a typical multiple attribute decision making problem, but there are still uncertainties and transitional in the evaluation process. In order to solve this problem, this paper focuses on the research of the application model based on the medium measurement and the multiple attribute decision making model, combines the theory of MMTD and weighted average method, and obtains the evaluation results of IMA architecture security by using the predicate description, the mapping function and the evaluation set.(3) A system of IMA architecture security assessment is designed and implemented.This paper designs and implements a security assessment system for the IMA architecture based on airworthiness certification, which provides a direct and simple evaluation platform for the users, and simplifies the workload of the security assessment of the IMA architecture.The significance of this paper is to introduce the theory and method of the true value degree measurement and multiple attribute decision making into the security assessment of IMA framework, so that a complete security assessment method for the IMA architecture based on airworthiness certification can be formed. Besides, it introduces new ideas to IMA system architecture security assessment and explores new ways to improve the effectiveness of safety assessment and airworthiness certification, and deepens the research content of the security assessment of IMA architecture. It has important theoretical and practical significance to improve the accuracy and validity of safety assessment.
