Reactive powder concrete(RPC) is a kind of new high-performance concrete material with high impact, high toughness and durability characteristics. Its special composition materials(such as quartz powder, silica fume and water reducers,etc.) and mechanical properties makes it equip with different destruction form and high ultimate bearing capacity, which brings great differences from the ordinary mixed concrete component. In order to obtain thecalculation methods ofdestruction form andultimate bearing capacity, this paper mainly carries out researches on the bending bearing capacity of prestressed RPC girder.The completed works are as follows :(1)First of all, the author analyzes the performance of RPC and then investigates the application of RPC engineering at home and abroad. At last, the author puts forward the main content of this research based on the relevant researches of the bending resistance of RPC beam.(2)Through RPC material performance tests, the writer obtains several basic performance parameters of RPC: elastic modulus, compressive strength of cube and prismatic compressive strength. During the tests, the writer usestwo sections at the same size, and applied same reinforcement of prestressed RPC with the method of three-point loading, and obtains the test data when prestressed RPC girder is under bending state. The test data are as follows:strain distribution of concrete in the cross section of pure bending, the variation of load deflection of test beam, the change law of the increment of prestressing tendon with the loading value, the development of crack, measured cracking moment, ultimate failure moment and so on.To analysethe straint distribution of the section of the simply supported beam, validating the unbo-n ded prestressed beam reactive powder concrete meet with flat section’s assumption(3) Based upon the existing concrete theories and with the combination of experimental data obtained from the abovementioned studies, this papercalculates the bending cracking moment when the normal section of prestressed RPC beams isunder bending condition. And theloading capacityareinvestigated and deduced when the normal section of prestressed RPC beams is in a limited state.This paper comparesthe data withother calculated values and measured values under the relevant standard theory’s calculation formula and then analyzes the differences. The paper also do some checking calculations on stiffness, deflection and crack width with the help of existing norms. The results show that the existing norms of RPC calculation and Analysis is safer.(4)On the basis of test data and the results of theoretical analysis and through ABAQUS for finite element simulation,the calculation results are in good coincident compared with the theoretical formula and the measured values. The results show that the suggested formula will provide some references for the design and engineering application of prestressed RPC girder.
