In recent years, with the extensive application of high-tech in the aviation system products, the aircraft structure has become increasingly large and the system has become more complex, thus the difficulty in maintenance and support is rising. Traditional aviation maintenance and support mode is difficult to adapt to the requirements of the aircraft maintenance and support under conditions of information. In this paper, on the basis of the specific process of civil aircraft maintenance and support. Fuzzy Petri net simulation model and the basic Petri net model of maintenance support activities are studied. And at the same time, according to the uncertain relationship among the failure phenomenon,fault diagnosis and maintenance activities in the process of maintenance and support, a simulation model of the maintenance and support activities based on Petri nets is given, which will be able to provide technical support to find out the design weak link existing among reliability, maintainability, testability, and the protection in the security performance evaluation of aviation system products.In the first Chapter, the background and significance of the research project have been introduced. The current research progress and status of maintenance and support activities and Petri nets in maintenance and support activities have also been summarized both in domestic and abroad. In the second Chapter, the maintenance support activities and the Petri nets theory have been introduced and analyzed. And the mathematical description and representation methods of Petri nets are also studied. In the third Chapter, the simulation model of maintenance and support activities based on fuzzy Petri nets was established, which is mainly used to conduct a feasibility assessment of the model. In addition, the typical example of maintenance and support activities was modeled, which further testified the practicality of the simulation software. In the fourth Chapter, with defects of fuzzy Petri nets cannot process the dynamic simulation of maintenance and support activities in the third chapter, the simulation model of maintenance and support activities basic on based Petri nets was given. The model is intuitive and clear to reflect the specific process of aircraft maintenance and support, and can also be analyzed in accordance with the relevant parameters.
