Vibration isolator in the industry is widely used, but with the industrial demand more and more strict, general vibration isolator is difficult to meet the special requirements when vibration isolation is demanded at the low frequency in line spectrum. In this paper, based on a novel inertial components of inerter, dynamic antiresonant vibration isolator with inerter of mathematical model is established.The vibration isolation performance of dynamic antiresonant vibration isolator with inerter is discussed at the low frequency in line spectrum. The main contents of this paper are as follows:Based on a new type of inertial component--inerter, the vibration characteristics of novel vibration isolation system with inerter has been analysed through inerter, spring and damper combination in parallel. The mathematical model of isolation is deduced for the analysis of vibrationtransmission characteristics. Then the influence of element parameters(spring stiffness, damp and inerter) on the vibration isolation performance is discussed in detail. Then, through force transmission and power flow, the performance of inerter isolator in the view of force and energy has been discussed with dynamic vibration absorber at the low frequency respectively.Then, the mathematical model of double layer vibration isolation system with inerter is established. Then force transmission and power flow are used to analyse force and energy transfer characteristics respectively. Results show that inerter can reduce the natural frequency and anti-resonance frequency is decided by the inerter as well. Isolation system has excellent isolation performance when excitation frequency is close to the anti-resonance frequency. The influence of every inerter on force and energy transfer characteristics is discussed.Considering nonlinear factors of inerter dynamic antiresonant vibration isolator, the mathematical model and dynamic equations of nonlinear inerter isolator is established with nonlinear stiffness, damping and inerter. The Harmonic Balance Method(HBM) is presented to solve dynamic equations of nonlinear inerter isolator for comparing with linear inerter isolator as well.Then, the influence ofnonlinear parameters on the inerter vibration isolation is analyzed.At the end of the thesis,a summary of the whole work and proposal of the further work is given.
