In many satellite system, power supply system is called the "heart" of satellite, which occurs at a rated voltage range, storage, regulation, control and distribution of electric energy, for all the sub system and the load to provide uninterrupted, safe and reliable electric energy. Power control system as a part of the core of the satellite power system. Its main task is through the shunt regulator of solar cell array of redundant power flow control and by charging and discharging controller to control the battery charge and discharge, guarantee the stability of the bus voltage, and the converter to meet the star load requirements.This article has carried on the analysis and Research on the application of more power control system topology that S3 R type system, hybrid system and S4 R type system, then focuses on the principle of S4 R power control system. Based on S4 R regulating principle of power system components simulation model is established in Matlab / Simulink, including energy(solar array, batteries) device and control device(shunt regulator, charging power switch tube and discharge controller, error amplifier), and carried out to validate the model and system simulation analysis. Based on the LABVIEW design of the solar array simulator and DSP28335 based power controller design, the establishment of the experimental platform, to carry out experimental tests and experimental results verify. The experimental test is carried out on the experimental platform, and the test results are analyzed and compared.The content of this thesis can be used in the design of satellite power system, and its simulation results can reflect the working state of the power system when the satellite on orbit load changes. The research results can be used as a reference for the design of a new satellite power system, which has a certain value of engineering application.
