The paper is based on the researches and experimental results of Shusheng Zhong's team,a finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used in this paper to do the nonlinear finite element analysis with a frame-supported short-leg shear wall whole model,through which we get how haunch angle and height of transfer beam influence the seismic performance of this kind structure.This paper has two parts. First is the static analysis, ABAQUS is used to do the vertical static and horizontal low cyclic loading analysis, by comparing the analysis results with the results of the team got before, the team verified the reliability of ABAQUS's simulation analysis. Then in the part of dynamic time-history analysis, a nine layers and two spans frame-supported short-leg shear wall was built while the model has been simplified in some ways. At last, the results of the dynamic time-history analysis showed that our team's researches with sub-structure in static analysis makes no differences in dynamic time-history analysis.Through the analysis with different models, we got appropriate haunch angle and height of transfer beam to make the structure perform better under the act of earthquake. Through the comparence of different models' layer displacements,inter-story displacement angle, the local tensile and compress damage of concrete and the equivalent rigid of models, we got the ideal haunch angle and height of transfer beam of the frame-supported short-leg shear wall structure.The following conclusion can be drawn:1) the frame-supported short-leg shear wall structure will get a good ductility and reasonable damage mechanism with a rational design.2) Under the act of vertical load, the force condition of beam-column joint will be better with the rise of the haunch angle and height of transfer beam.3) In order to insure ductility and rigid of the structure with a low cyclic loading,the haunch angle shouldn't be less than 30 degree and the span-depth ratio should be in 6~8.4) When structures suffer a fortification or rare earthquake's effect(7degree), the seismic performance of structure such as local damage of transfer story and inter-story displacement angle is in a reasonable range which gives the frame-supported short-leg shear wall a better seismic performance.
