There is no doubt that in manufacturing cost, task performance and flexible operating,the SUAV has a self-evident advantage. But today, people no longer just focus on traditional performance indicators such as flying security or keeping the plain stable, they need a better aircraft for more complex mission, and the autopilot should be more advanced even Intelligent. Technical progress and people's requirement become a promote power helping human to optimization the design of SUAV autopilot system.A LQG control algorithms based on GA has been given in this paper after the analysis of flight theory, and a simple autopilot has been designed for flying test.Analyzes the basic theory of UAV modeling, introduces the basic theory of vortex lattice method, and use a practical pneumatic estimates-based means to establish the mechanism model of a SUAV, and then make a preliminary analysis of the performance of the UAV by system simulation combined with the dimensionless derivatives. After analyzing the characteristics of quadratic method and genetic algorithm, design the flight control law and give the algorithm flow chart,while the control parameters is ok, analysis its control performance by simulation. After those work, a simple autopilot has been designed based on the analysis of the control needs, choose the MTI-G as the sensing measurement unit,TMS320F2808 as the processing chip. At the same time, compile the code of the control algorithm in CCS, and write a series of data processing programs in MATLAB.All of this work make a great contribution to flight test and data storage of this article.
