Recently,inverter instruments have been applied in more and more fields such as factories, electricity generating companies. When used in airplanes, inverters in airplanes require a very high density of the power and weight, also inverters' reliability should be considered. This thesis have done researches on the topology of three phase four legs inverter under various coordinate systems. The controller of inverters and parallel inverter technologies are the rest part of this thesis.This research started with comparing differernt topologies of aviation static inverter,choosing one relatively better topology. Based on this topology, different coordinate systems are introduced to decompose the topology. After comparing these coordinate systems, ??0 coordinate system is choosed. Then modulation strategies applied to three phase four legs inverters are introduced. There are two strategies:3D SVPW(Three-Dimensional Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) and SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation). Because SPWM is relatively convinient, so 3D SVPWM was not choosed.Then a simplified model based on ??0 coordinate has been set. According to this coordinate, Proportional-Resonant controller(PR controller) is used to controller this model. This research then focus on how to design this controller by using root locus. From root locus, the stable range of controller can be easily got. After designing controller, A simulation model was built in Matlab/Simulink. Results from running this simulation shows that controller is quite well. Dynamic and steady state performance of this model were satisfactory.The parallel system helps to expand capacity of invertor systems, improving its flexibility. This thesis introduced some parallel strategies and phase-locked technologies. And how the output impedence can influence the parallel effect.At the last part of this thesis, experience had been done according to the analysis above. The results approve the effectiveness of PR controller and parallel technologies.
