Electron beam irradiation is an important method for irradiation processing. The radiation area and the degree of uniformity are two important parameters of the irradiation accelerator, which finally determine the product quality. Electromagnet scanning mode is often used in the traditional radiation accelerator's magnetic field system, irradiation area and the effect of uniformity is not very good. This passage proposed and designed a irradiation processing scattered beam device based on the principle of quadrupole magnet, build a special magnetic field to scatter electronics beam instead of the original scanning mode, in order to spread the electron beam evenly, increase the area of irradiation and irradiation uniformity, avoid that the particle bunch may be too concentrated which can burn the titanium window.First build the model by professional electromagnetic simulation software Ansoft to simulate theoretically, construct the special magnetic field. Through the force analysis and the derivation of the equation, summarize the motion law of the electron bunch in quadrupole magnets. Through the comparison of the magnetic field under different magnetic pole structure, the optimizing scheme for the structure of the magnetic pole is obtained. Then according to beam flow dynamics theory, analysis the motion differential equation of electron beam detailly, and the classical Runge-Kutta four order method is used to solve the differential equations. Write programs by the numerical analysis software MATLAB to simulate the trajectory of the particle bunch. According to the simulation results, add an octupole magnet to optimize the design of electron scattered beam device, so that the irradiated area and uniformity can reach the ideal index. By adjusting the parameters of the electron beam device, enable the particle bunch in different power levels to have good beam scattering effect. Finally, put forward the error analysis and the related solutions in theory, which provides a reference for the follow-up work.Through the simulation in theory, the design of irradiation processing electronic scattered beam device increase the area of irradiation and irradiation uniformity, simplify the system and increase the security of the system, which proves that the device is feasible in theory.
