Radiation processing technology is a processing technology with broad prospects after mechanical processing technology,hot processing technology and chemical processing technology.The international discussion on radiation processing technology has a history of more than 100 years,and its development in China is relatively slow.In the early twenty-first Century,it was still in its infancy.In recent decades,radiation processing technology has developed rapidly in China,and is generally recognized as one of the fastest growing countries in the world.Radiation processing equipment mainly includes radiation sources and electron accelerators.Because the problems of radiation sources are becoming more and more apparent in radiation safety,waste source processing and cost,the demand for electron accelerators is becoming more and more urgent in the radiation processing market.In this paper,the electron linear accelerator for radiation processing is taken as the research object.And combined with the development of RIAMB accelerator business,the control scheme of accelerator is researched and designed.The focus of the research and design in this paper:1.The principle of electronic linear accelerator for radiation processing.The working principle of accelerator system and modulator subsystem and the physical principle of electronic acceleration are studied.2.The overall scheme of electron linear accelerator control system for radiation processing.On the basis of familiarity with the working principle of the whole system,the overall control scheme and control process are given according to the design objectives.The whole system adopts the distributed control mode,and divides the whole system into the host subsystem,the modulator subsystem,the vacuum subsystem,the water cooling subsystem and the transmission line subsystem.PROFINET communication is used to exchange data among subsystems.Then the detailed control plan of each part is designed and described in detail.3.The control scheme of the modulator subsystem of the electron linear accelerator for radiation processing.According to the modulator's role in the accelerator system,the modulator is divided into two parts: the charging unit and the discharge unit.The advantages and disadvantages of the three charging modes are compared,and the charging mode of the resonant inverter is selected.The principle of resonant inverter charging is studied,and the resonant inverter charging circuit designed in this paper is mathematically derived,and the conclusion of constant current charging is obtained.For the accelerator of 10 Me V and 15 KW,the important parameters of the modulator are calculated,and the control scheme of the charging process is given.The correctness of the scheme is verified through simulation and test,and the charging stability of the charging unit is improved by further optimization design.The control function of the charging unit and the discharge unit are integrated on the charging control board.And the paper introduces the various functions of the control board in detail.The control scheme of the electronic linear accelerator used in the radiation processing is on the basis of inheriting the stability and reliability of the control system of RIAMB accelerator,and there are new improvements,such as the mode of charge and discharge of the modulator.The scheme above has been tested and verified to enable the accelerator to operate stably and reliably.
