Research On Obama Administration’s Policy On Space Science And Technology

With the rapid development of science and technology as well as the extending depth of human space activities, outer space has become the fourth living space for human beings, after land, sea and sky; while space science and technology has also became a strategic element to enhance national strength and international prestige,which is crucial to national interests and security. Therefore, the study about policy on space science and technology, which promotes the development of space science and technology and the achievement of national goals, possesses vital theoretical and practical significance.From the perspective of science and technology policy(STP), the paper insists on the combination of history and logic, theory and examples, and uses comparative and contradiction analysis methods, attempting to apply the study achievements of STP into the field of space, and thus constructing an explanatory research framework for policy on space science and technology.
