Research And Practice On Conceptual Design Of Exhibition Engineering In Science And Technology Museum

As an important part of the national strategy of “rejuvenating the country through science and education”,the Science and Technology Museum is a platform for public knowledge of public science and to cultivate public innovation capabilities.The development of the Science and Technology Museum's exhibition planning is related to the operation direction and social value of the Science and Technology Museum.This paper mainly studies the theory and practice of exhibition planning in science and technology museum.Firstly,analyze the case studies of the two internationally renowned science and technology museums at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry and the Japan Science Future Museum,and compare their venue exhibition planning cases with the exhibition plans of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the Wuhan Science and Technology Museum.Research on the theme positioning,basic planning,featured activities,and teaching content in the exhibition planning of the venue.It is found that there are few researches on the exhibition planning of domestic science and technology museums.The venue planning ignores the development needs of the state and society,the phenomenon of homogenization of venues and exhibitions is serious,and the science and technology museum lacks the characteristics of venues.Secondly,based on the experience of teaching and planning of excellent science and technology venues,based on the study of the planning elements of the science and technology museum and the psychology and behavior of the audience,based on the history and laws of the development of science and technology,combined with the overall concept of the exhibition and teaching of the museum,according to the concept of exhibition National development strategies,regional development needs,and publicpsychological needs for science and technology museums determine the theme of venue exhibition planning.According to the research of the theme of the venue,further research on the framework of the exhibition of science and technology museums,the selection of knowledge content,the division of the exhibition area and the determination of the layout of the exhibition area,analyze the important factors referenced in the formulation process of each part,and finally form a complete set.Teaching and planning engineering planning and design procedures.Finally,on the basis of the above research,the new museum of Science and Technology Museum of Hubei Province is taken as the practice object,and the theme of the exhibition and planning of the venue and the overall planning plan of the venue are proposed,and the exhibition halls of “Curious Players” and “Smart Light” in the venue are exhibited.Teaching planning has achieved better results in the exhibition of science and technology museums.The overall planning of the venue was affirmed and supported by the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Museum and eventually adopted the venue planning plan.
