The process of airc raft design is split up into three phases, the conceptual des ign, the preliminary design and the detail design. In the conceptual design phase, several design projects can be formed according to the design require ments. During the conceptual design specialists in the areas of aerodynamic, we ight, stability and manoeuvrebility design and analyze the aircraft, then the parameters can be changed for another calculation. The process is cumbersome and time-consuming. Currently, there are many researches about single discipline of h igh speed vehicle, but the hig h speed vehicle mu ltid isciplinary design and integrated research is re latively fe wer and not too much information can be referred to. The article is focused on the parametric modeling and integration system of aerospace plane. This system can assist designers to design, improving the work efficiency and reducing the design cycle.The main content of this thesis is as follows:1)This thesis gives a report about the aerospace plane overall rapid design system, including the design process, software structure and management level. Based on C + + and FLTK/GUI, user interface is developed for shape display and the function call.2)Through review of related airraft conceptual design literatures, this thesis introduced the aircraft parametric modeling method respectively from two aspects which are research object and geometry generation method, each method has its own advantages and applicat ion scope. According to the requirements of the project, the CST – shape function/class function and the open source software are used. The article also gives an introduction of the principle of CST, the open source modeling method and the program structure. Then the program is further developed to provide more functions of aircraft parametric modeling.3)The parametric method of the component provided by open source software can shorten the aircraft geometry modeling cycle and improve efficiency. But there are some obstacles to the modeling of some unconventional layout aircraft. In this thesis, a variety of fuselage models and wing structure cases are built. The designer just need to choose the corresponding aircraft model and adjust a few parameters to get the ideal vehicle model. According to the init ial parameter est imate methods, the geometric data is calculated. thus the designer could use the model library to build airplanes.4)The aerospace plane overall rapid design system involves many disciplines, the exchange of data between the various disciplines is the key of the design and analysis. The software use a center database to realize data exchange between each module. The center database has clear structure and access to data storage. With the study of analysis methods of different modules, the interface technology of every analysis module is introduced.
