General aviation is an important part of civil aviation. In recent years, the economy has developed rapidly in China, as well as people's growing consumer demand on general aviation. Compared with passenger transport, general aviation has the advantages of flexible, fast and efficient. That is why the general aircraft, especially light general aircraft, are always variety, professional and have diverse configurations. For a long time, the production and use of general aircraft in our country are dependent on foreign technology and products in a great extent. China is lack of research and general aircraft types so that our market competitiveness is low, therefore the general aircraft design technology has a profound significance on the development of general aviation in China.Compared with passenger plane and fighter, the light general aircraft design has higher degrees of freedom, also, there is not much experience and procedures in design for light general aircraft. Especially in period of systematic project design. As one of the key technical problems of light general aircraft design, systematic project design technology can standardized the design requirements, shorten the aircraft design cycle and reduce the cost of the production. In this paper, the systematic project design and the conceptual design technology of the light general aircraft are researched, this paper proposes a plane systematic balance method based on grey correlation analysis method, and completed the systematic project design and the conceptual design of a light duck type layout agricultural aircraft based on this, meanwhile, the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft designed is analyzed by using CFD method.
