The circulation of cable sheath cable and the induced voltage generated heating, reduce its insulation levels and lead to the problems, therefore, outer sheath health level of the insulation transmission lines is very important.As a result many of power cable fault is characterized by grounding induction circulation, monitoring the grounding current of the cable can be targeted for early warning and can avoid causing major accidents, thus ensuring the normal operation of the high voltage cable and effective transmission of electric energy.To solve these problems, this paper studies high voltage cable grounding current online monitoring system. First analyzed the theory basis of high voltage cable grounding current on-line monitoring, solved grounding induction circulation calculation method and analyzed the influencing factors of cable sheath circulation. Secondly designed high voltage cable grounding current hardware, including cable circulation monitoring terminal design, field data acquisition device design and monitor software design of the equipment. Designed and implement PC monitoring and control software, realized the function of remote online monitoring of the system, greatly facilitated the grounding current test and improved the safety factor of the high voltage cable operation. Made a full performance test on the system, including both hardware and software, made the system run and collected information, verified the reliability and stability of the system.Monitoring the sheathed circulation can be used to ensure the safe operation of the main insulation and sheath insulation stability, in case of abnormal data or damaged, the system can alert to guarantee the safe operation of the high voltage cable continued, and greatly promote the smooth operation of the power grid.
