The Research On Form & Meaning In The Process Of The Architectural Decoration Design

Decoration is considered as the second excavation for architecture,which gives audience to the humanity on the basis of adhering to architectural design concept.With the improvement of the frame structure system and diversification of wall’s form,a new era of architectural decoration has come.As the proverb goes:” Holes should be set aside on the wall so as to install the windows while the house indeed works.Therefore,‘existence’ makes everything work,in turn,‘inexistence’ make ‘existence’ work.’” With the promotion of new technology,humans could freely create wonderful conversion of the positive and negative space under the architectural frame.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.In the first part,I put forward the argument :it is necessary to pay close attention to the construction the form & meaning in the process of the architectural decoration design.Moreover,this part elaborates the background,object,range,research significance,current situation and research methods.The second part is mainly about analysis and discussion,which gives specific elaboration to relative concept of the form & meaning.The third part is the supporting part,which expounds and elaborates the establishment of the form & meaning in design flow of the architectural decoration.It traces the histoy,carrying out the demonstration by two parts: ‘ Recognition of Aesthetic Perception’ & ‘ Construction of the Form’ and ‘Form & Meaning’.The fourth part is practical application.By review and analysis of design projects,it explores the form & meaning’s design thoughts of designers in four design phases and how to guarantee design thoughts coming down in a continuous line,so that the design is fluent.The last part gives the generalization and summarization of this paper.It proposes the significance of reasonable application of form & meaning’s thinking in the design flow.Besides,it also adds some other points,which we should pay attention to in the design flow,from the angle of technology’s effect and design’s scientificity.
