| With the fossil energy crisis,energy saving has become one of the main objectives of automotive design.Cooling system as a main component of vehicle,the improvement of its performance efficiency is conducive to decrease fuel consumption.So as far as possible to improve the efficiency of cooling system in the design process is the key to energy saving.In this paper,from the perspective of the improvement of the fuel consumption performance of a Qingdao company’s heavy duty truck,combined with the supporting resources of the internal system and users,reducing power consumption of water pump and fan is a lifting scheme via traditional cooling system design analysis.This paper has established the evaluation method for power consumption while the cooling system design,trying to optimize design and match calculation of key parameters and parts for cooling system.In detail,this method reduces the internal resistance of the radiator by structure optimization,improving the efficiency of the air suction fan by optimization or re selection,selecting "reflow labyrinth" guard ring and sealing measures of cooling system to reduce the rear fan.Compared the primary vehicle fuel consumption with the optimization results,finding that the structural improvements brought about by the performance of the fuel consumption is still very limited.Therefore,using electronic control system of vehicle is contribute to researches on intelligent control of fan.By using the electronic silicone oil clutch,can vary the fan speed in accordance with changes of engine cooling water temperature,reducing fuel consumption of the fan in vain when the water temperature is low.In order to guarantee the performance of a fan,first step is calibrating the electronic silicone oil clutch bench,and then stability of temperature control of the trailer load verify the actual speed of the fan and the target speed.Finally via the vehicle road test,compared vehicle fuel consumption and engine temperature test on the mechanical and electronic silicone oil clutch clutch,the final results show that the silicon oil clutch fan has significant effect on vehicle fuel consumption reduction,expected to reach the purpose of optimization. |
