Today,digital surveillance video technology is developing rapidly.Video surveillance system in the banks,shopping malls,public security has maintained a sustained development trend,while mobile carriers(airborne,vehicle,ship,etc.)also showed a strong growth in demand.As the mobile carrier will bump and shake,so the camera must be fixed in a specific image stabilization system to ensure the stability of the camera boresight.Commonly used stabilization techniques include platform stabilization,optical stabilization,and electronic image stabilization.Combinatorial stabilization technique which is a combination of the above three or two kinds of image stabilization program is one of the hotspots in the field of image stabilization.In this paper,a combination of platform stabilization and electronic image stabilization technology is used to realize the combined shipborne image stabilization system.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the function of shipborne image stabilization system,the stabilization technique,inertial navigation and basic process of the electronic image stabilization technology sensor are introduced.(2)The hardware system of the platform stabilization module is designed and implemented which includes microprocessor,serial interface,inertial sensor and power supply module.(3)In view of the structure of stabilizing PTZ,the overall control architecture of platform image stabilization module is designed.The Kalman filter model based on accelerometer and gyroscope data is constructed and simulated.An optimal PID algorithm is proposed as the feedback control algorithm of the system,and the method of limiting the maximum acceleration is put forward to suppress the step-out problem of the stepping motor.And realizes the platform stabilization module.(4)The characteristics and principle of electronic image stabilization scheme based on block matching are analyzed.The motion vector estimation method based on SAD matching criterion and full search strategy is implemented.The characteristics of the development platform used in this paper are discussed.A scheme to complete the image with preconditions of stability is proposed,and PSNR and difference image are taken as the criteria for evaluating the stability.(5)The characteristics of the development platform used in this paper is discussed.The Kalman filter and PID feedback control are applied in the platform stabilization module,and the performance parameters of the image stabilization are described.Firstly,the processing flow of electronic image stabilization module is described in detail,the appropriate parameters are configured for each module.Then according to the experimental results,this paper analyzes the indicators of the electronic image stabilization module.Finally,this paper summarizes the whole paper and puts forward some prospects for improvement.
