An urban space made up of three basic components which tissue is urban fabric-architecture, human-resident and urban greenery-nature. My work focuses on the three components that create an urban space within the city. Urban greenery understood in different ways takes on new meaning when you look at it carefully. Private gardens, public gardens and vertical gardens have formed a new style of vertical gardens, which are green walls consisting of moss. This Master's thesis is dedicated to a creation of vertical gardens with moss, the technology to create them and the positive and negative aspects of the creation of walls of this type in private spaces, which in cities are family houses, but more block estates, and in public, where there are spaces of leisure, commercial and service. It has also been included on the subject of cultural change and political characteristic of the state, which reflection influenced the formation of the space as well as people's lives. The subject of the thesis was also about the plant material which is moss, which is a new area of research that begins to develop within the exploration of energy-saving technologies and solutions. Creating vertical walls using mosses gave us a new and fresh look about creating spaces in cities, both urban spaces and living spaces. The proposed solutions are the reasons why more and more attention should be paid on this kind of solution. The aim of this work is to present the subject to both expert and stakeholders and to sensitize consumers to the space in which they live in.
